After graduating from the University of Maryland with a bachelor's degree, he started his NY real estate career, and soon became a top producer. He was then hand-picked to manage one of the largest independent real estate companies in New York City, managing over 100 agents, and increasing revenue year-over-year. With the goal of ownership, he then formed the ECP realty group. The success of this company led it to become listed by Dunn & Bradstreet! After realizing that he could offer a broad spectrum of financial services to his clientele, he decided to get licensed as an investment advisor. While owning and operating a real estate firm, he also worked on Wall Street as a top investment banker. To this day he maintains all of the licenses necessary to advise his customers on investments in real estate, the stock market, and all insurance products as well.

 

At Douglas Elliman, Edward provides his clients with individual attention, expertly guiding them through their real estate transactions, and maintaining those relationships long after closing. Edward also works alongside his wife, Kathy Koch-Pitlake, who he met at The University of Maryland. Kathy currently holds the position of Senior Sales Executive for ALINA Residences - 3 brand new Condominium buildings located in the heart of Downtown Boca Raton. Prior to that she held the title of Douglas Elliman Director of Sales at Akoya Boca West - a new development set amongst the impeccable grounds of the Nation’s #1 Residential Country Club.
